Stepping Up to The Pro Game
The Canadian Soccer League has a long-standing belief that Canada needs a stronger professional soccer structure to step up on the world stage. The launch of the Canadian Premier League (CPL) in 2017 was a step in the right direction with MLS teams CF Montreal, Toronto FC and Vancouver Whitecaps FC the top-flight of the Canadian game.
The Canadian Soccer League is a semi-professional regional league that invites organizations entering professional soccer for the first time to consider the CSL for the upcoming 2025 season. The CSL accommodates many outstanding import players approved for temporary resident in Canada while also encouraging player development of Canadians.
