York Region Shooters return to First Division action with a game at Warrior Field in Waterloo where the Southwestern Ontario side are struggling to hit the kind of good form shown in the second half of the 2013 season when they went on to become CSL champions. It’s not an easy game for the Shooters and is a game where the outcome is hard to predict. Kickoff is 7 pm.
North York Astros are attracting a lot of attention while on a six-game undefeated streak since the loss to York Region Shooters on June 15. The Astros have shot up the table and a victory over Burlington SC Saturday would lift the Toronto team even higher than the present fourth position, to at least a third place in the standings.
The Astros have been dislocated from their Esther Shiner Stadium home ground due to recent flooding which has damaged the surface and the game with Burlington, previously scheduled for Sunday, will now be played at Downsview Park Saturday.
