LONDON CITY DOWN TORONTO CROATIA WEDNESDAY

London-CityLondon City defeated Toronto Croatia 3-2, the only game in the Canadian Soccer League Wednesday night.

Jure Glavina opened the scoring for Toronto Croatia at the University of Western Ontario ground in London, he found the net past London goalkeeper Vladimir Markotic to give the visitors a 1-0 lead at half-time.

Ivan Bozina tied the game 1-1 for London City, he beat Toronto Croatia goalkeeper Faris Efendic at the 57 minute mark and this was followed by the ejection of Oscar Cordon of Toronto Croatia who was shown the red card by referee Tony Amaral at 80 minutes for dissent.

Brandon Barbosa gave the home side a 2-1 lead at 81 minutes.

Igor Krmar scored the third goal for London City and Glavina scored a second goal for Toronto Croatia for 3-2 final score.

London City improve to a 4-6-1 WLT record for 13 points and remain in 11 position in the standings, while Toronto Croatia are at 6-4-1 for 19 points and third in the table.
