A full slate of First Division games are scheduled for the upcoming weekend, beginning with a Friday night home encounter by Serbian White Eagles against York Region Shooters at Centennial Stadium in Etobicoke. Serbian Eagles have suffered two defeats in their opening games, a 3-0 loss to Scarborough on May 28 and a 1-0 defeat at home to Brantford Galaxy on June 3, a contrast to their winning form of 2015 which led to capturing the First Division title.
There are two games on Saturday, with Brantford Galaxy at home to Scarborough. The east Toronto side has been impressive in the opening two winning games of the season, while not conceding a goal. The Galaxy have a 1-1-1 record from the opening three games. It’s a 7 pm kickoff at Lions Park, while 30 minutes later in Toronto’s west-end, Toronto Atomic will start its game at Centennial Stadium against Milton.
There is one game on Sunday, a 6.30 pm evening kick off at Maple just north of Toronto where FC Ukraine United will be at home at the St. Joan of Arc Stadium against visiting Hamilton City.
