Brantford Galaxy played a come-from-behind game to defeat Scarborough SC 4-3, while Toronto Atomic FC scored a 3-2 victory over Milton SC, two games in the CSL First Division Saturday night.
Forward Jonathan Jebbison opened the scoring for Scarborough after 10 minutes at Lions Park in Brantford and Marco Machado tied the game 1-1 from a rebound off a free kick, finding the net past Scarborough goalkeeper Imad Hakura at the 17 minute mark.
Midfielder Dobrin Orlovski struck for Scarborough from a free kick from 24 yards at 19 minutes to put the visitors into a 2-1 lead, the score at the break.
Forward Haris Redzepi equalized for the Galaxy at 46 minutes, taking a pass from Machado to make it 2-2, and at the 60 minute Jebbison caught the bottom right corner for his second goal to put Scarborough into a 3-2 lead.
Scarborough’s Aleksander Stojiljkovic drove a penalty kick over the bar at 68 minutes and four minutes later Brantford tied the game 3-3 at 72 minutes on a goal from the penalty spot by Krum Bigishkrov.
Memanja Simeunovic received a second caution and was ejected to reduce the visitors to 10 men, and at the 80 minute mark Brantford took the lead for the first time in the game with a volley by Stefan Vukovic, a 4-3 victory at the final whistle.
Erin Reeves opened the scoring after five minutes for Milton SC in their game with Toronto Atomic at Centennial Stadium in Etobicoke and forward Ihor Melnyk tied the game 1-1 for Atomic at the 21 minute, scoring from the penalty spot and a rebound off Milton goalkeeper Zoran Pusica.
Toronto Atomic went ahead 2-1 on a goal at 38 minutes by Dario Brezak and it was 2-1 at the interval.
Dario Brezak struck again at 81 minutes to give the home side a 3-1 lead and Milton reduced the lead to 3-2 with a goal by Jefferson Agata just before the final whistle.
There was one game in the CSL Second Division with Toronto Atomic B dominated London City 6-0 at Centennial Park in Etobicoke
