TOP TEAMS IN WEEKEND ACTION – HAMILTON VS SERBIAN WHITE EAGLES POSTPONED
The top three teams in the CSL First Division, FC Ukraine United, Vorkuta FC and Scarborough, are in action this coming weekend, a midpoint in the season that goes through to September, leading to playoffs and the CSL Championship in October.
Ukraine United joined Vorkuta at the top of the table with a 7-1 victory last weekend, each has 19 points.
Ukraine United is at home to Waterloo on Saturday, a 2pm kickoff at Esther Shiner Stadium, while Vorkuta hosts Real Mississauga, an 8 pm evening kickoff at the OSA Soccer Centre Stadium in Vaughan.
Scarborough is away to Brantford Galaxy, an 8.30 pm start at the Heritage Field.
A fourth First Division match scheduled for Saturday, Hamilton City vs Serbian White Eagles, has been postponed and will be rescheduled for a future date.
There are three CSL Second Division matches the following day, Sunday, with Brantford Galaxy B at home to Halton United B, at Lions Park in Brantford, a 6 pm kickoff, Milton SC B is at home to Serbian White Eagles B at the Milton Sports Centre, a 7.30 pm start and Scarborough SC B is at home to Vorkuta FC B, an 8 pm kickoff at the OSA Soccer Centre Stadium.
Vorkuta FC B leads the Second Division with 12 points, three points ahead of Halton United B and Scarborough SC B in second and third place respectively.
