LATE GOALS GIVE UKRAINE UNITED SUNDAY VICTORY

FC Ukraine United scored three late goals to defeat Scarborough SC in a well- played and only game in the Canadian Soccer League First Division Sunday night.

It was a close, physical encounter through to the 64th minute when forward Pavlo Lukianets opened the scoring for a 1-0 Ukraine United lead at Birchmount Stadium and this was followed by a goal 10 minutes later by Ihor Malysh.
The visitors increased their lead at 80 minutes when Amir Hosic found the net to complete the scoring, giving Ukraine United its second win in the season following a 2-0 home victory over Scarborough on May 19.

FC Ukraine United will travel to Heritage Field in Hamilton for their next game, which is against the City on Saturday, June 9, a 6.30 pm start and Scarborough SC will be away to Serbian White Eagles for their next game, a 7 pm kickoff at Centennial Stadium on Friday, June 8.
There was on game in the CSL Second Division Sunday night when FC Vorkuta B defeated Scarborough SC B, 4-3, at St. Roberts Field.
