Hamilton City upset Brantford Galaxy by a 2-1 score at Lions Park in Brantford, the only game played in the CSL First Division Saturday night.
Miljan Milovic opened the scoring for Brantford Galaxy , finding the net past Hamilton City goalkeeper Adrian Becic at the 28 minute mark for a 1-0 score at half-time.
Hamilton tied the game 1-1 at 50 minutes on a goal by midfielder Zdenko Jurcevic, the equalizer coming immediately after Dado Hadrovic struck the Brantford crossbar off a corner kick.
Forward Drazen Vukovic struck the winner for Hamilton at 65 minutes beating Galaxy goalkeeper Luka Besenic with a drive into the low left corner, a 2-1 score at the final whistle.
It was Hamilton’s second win of the season for a 2-3-0 WLT record for six points, while Brantford Galaxy have won twice with one draw for a 2-3-1 record and seven points in the new season.
There was one game in the CSL Second Division with Brantford Galaxy reserves dominating London City by a 6-1 score.
