Serbian White Eagles continued their climb up the CSL standings with two late goals for a 2-0 victory over Milton SC, the only game in the Canadian Soccer League Friday night.
Newly signed attacking midfielder Luka Bojic opened the scoring for Serbian Eagles at Centennial Stadium in Etobicoke, finding the net at 82 minutes off a corner kick. Bojic also played a part in the second goal for the home side, passing the ball to Milos Scepanovic at 88 minutes for a 2-0 score at the final whistle. It was goal number six this season for Scepanovic.
The win gives Serbian White Eagles an improved 7-6-2 WLT record for 23 points, tied on points with Scarborough SC for second position in the First Division standings, while Milton are at 3-9-3 for 10 points at the foot of the table.
