Scarborough were held to a 1-1 draw by Unity FC. a ding-dong late game in the Canadian Soccer League Saturday, August 10, while in the earlier afternoon games at Esther Shiner Stadium, Toronto Falcons defeated Spanish Future Stars 3-0 and this was followed by a 3-1 Serbian White Eagles victory over Hamilton City.
While Scarborough had a slight edge in midfield, Unity FC fought throughout in a rough and tumble physical affair that ended in a good result for both teams, an attractive encounter through to the final whistle.
Camaal Reid opened the scoring for Scarborough at 46 minutes, a low drive just inside the post and the Toronto east-end side came close to increasing the lead into the second half.
Munim Melaque equalized for Unity at 55 minutes, a drive from 10 yards well out of reach of Scarborough goalkeeper Rodolfo Toledo and the 1-1 score held to the final whistle.

Forward Stefan Milosevic took a cross from the right wing to head into the net for a 1-0 lead at seven minutes for Serbian White Eagles and Nikola Djurkovic made it 2-0, a drive from outside the box that caught the roof of the net at the 20th minute mark. . Elver Gigolaj struck for Hamilton City at 27 minutes, it was 2-1 at the break.
Djurkovic was shown the red card by referee Carlos Rodriges, the send-off came five minutes into the second half for Violent Conduct.
Midfielder Nikola Timotijevic increased the lead to 3-1 for Serbian White Eagles at 90 minutes, the score at the final whistle.
