The Canadian Soccer League Championship Final is scheduled to be played at the Kalar Sports Park in Niagara Falls on Sunday, November 3, with a kickoff 2.30 pm and will be preceded at 12 noon by the Second Division Championship for reserve teams of clubs in the CSL.
This Championship Day will follow the CSL Annual Awards night, also at Niagara Falls the day before, on Saturday, November 2 for a CSL Championship Weekend co-hosted by Niagara United FC and the Canadian Soccer League.
Eight teams will qualify for the CSL Championship Playoffs and eight teams will qualify for the Second Division Championship Playoffs.
The following teams have already clinched a playoff berth:
CSL CHAMPIONSHIP (First Division)
Brampton City Utd, Kingston FC, Toronto Croatia, York Region Shooters
RESERVE DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP (Second Division)
London City B, Niagara United B, St. Catharines Wolves B, Toronto Croatia B
The final standings at the end of the regular season are determined by total points, followed if necessary by the following tie-breakers:
1. Total wins in regular season games.
2. Head-to-head record based on total points in league games.
3. Goal difference in regular season games.
4. Goals scored in regular season games.
The top four teams in each division will have home advantage in the quarterfinals and semifinals.
The CSL playoffs in both divisions will get underway with the quarterfinals the weekend October 11 – 13, and the semifinals the weekend of October 18 – 20.
