SC WATERLOO HELD TO A SCORELESS TIE BY IMPROVING ASTROS VASAS FC

Astros Vasas FC showed signs of turning their season around by holding SC Waterloo to a scoreless tie in the only game played in the CSL Friday night.
It was a well-played encounter at the Warrior Field in Waterloo with the home side on the fringes of the upper positions in the standings and Astros Vasas FS at the foot of the table with just one win in seven games played in the season so far.
Waterloo have a 3-2-2 WLT record for 11 points as a result of the tie, while Astros Vasas FC are now 1-6-1 for four points in the standings
There is one postponement in the Second Division this weekend – the SC Waterloo B vs Serbian White Eagles B game set for Saturday, has been called off due to wet ground conditions.
 
Astros Vasa FC can be seen on Rogers TV on Saturday, a tape delay of the Astros Vasas FC vs. York Region Shooters game played last Sunday, June 23. The tape delay can be seen on Saturday, June 29 at 8pm in Toronto – check your local listings in other regions of Ontario.
