Capital City FC secured second place in the CSL standings following a 2-1 victory over North York Astros at Esther Shiner Stadium Saturday afternoon and in one other game in the CSL, London City and TFC Academy fought to a 1-1 tie at The Cove in London.
Capital City FC’s William Beauge led his team with two first half goals, the first at the 30th minute mark when he headed home a corner kick and the second goal came at 45 minutes when he beat Astros’ goalkeeper Enea Perego from seven yards for a 2-0 lead at the half.
