CAPITAL CITY FC MARCH ON WITH 10 GAMES UNBEATEN WHILE MONTREAL IMPACT ACADEMY CRASH 4-0 AT BRAMPTON

Capital City FC kept up their unbeaten streak which now stands at 10 games following a cliffhanger 2-2 tie with Windsor Stars, while Montreal Impact Academy crashed 4-0 at Brampton to bring their 10-game unbeaten streak to an abrupt end, the only two games in the CSL First Division Saturday.

The move paid off as Irwin’s diving header from 10 yards flew into the home net to make the score 2-2 and that was the score at the final whistle.

Montreal Impact Academy’s 10-game unbeaten run ended at Victoria Park in Brampton where the Quebec side ran into a buzz saw Brampton City Utd  for a 4-0 result which means the league-leading team ended its swing into Ontario with just one point following the 1-1 tie with London City Friday night.

Following a scoreless first half, Richard West opened the scoring for Brampton at

49 minutes and this was followed by the first of two goals by midfielder Andy Garcia who put the home side two-up at 74 minutes.
