Capital City FC increased their unbeaten streak to eight games following a 5-0 easy victory over winless North York Astros in Ottawa Friday and this was followed by a second game in the CSL Canada Day when SC Toronto gained a 4-1 home win over the current CSL champions, Brantford Galaxy.
North York Astros were reduced to 10 men when midfielder Francisco Mendez was shown the red card at 25 minutes of the first half and the half ended 2-0.
