FULL SLATE OF GAMES AND NEW SHOW ON HOLIDAY WEEKEND

The CSL will have a full slate of games in its First Division during the Victoria Day weekend, a weekend  which also features the opening of The CSL This Week, a 30-minute show on Rogers TV which begins on Friday – check your local listing for program time.


 


The CSL This Week, hosted by Alex Bastyovanszky will continue through most of the soccer season to include game highlights, interviews,stories and will profile CSL teams. The opening show on Friday, May 18, will include highlights from four games during the opening two weekends, a visit to the CSL press conference held at the BMO Field on May 1, a studio interview with Phil Ionadi and a player profile of Mississauga Eagles midfielder Joey Melo.


 


Two teams – London City and Brantford Galaxy – have their home opener this weekend. London City open at TD Waterhouse Stadium in London on Friday night under new ownership in Hamilton businessman Andrew Crowe  and  new head coach Stan Svezdic, while Brantford Galaxy are entering the season attempting to regain their 2010 form which won the club the CSL Championship in its inaugural season.
