Mississauga Eagles FC improved their chances for a playoff position with an important 2-1 victory over Windsor Stars in the CSL Saturday night and in a second game, Brantford Galaxy were held to a scoreless tie by North York Astros.

There were few scoring opportunities, but two Brantford Galaxy players were ejected by referee Richard Oliveira who brought out the red card first of all for Dalibor Mitrovic who was sent off after just 15 minutes for Violent Conduct and at 80 minutes defender Zvonko Bakula was ordered off for Serious Foul Play.
