Montreal Impact Academy will resume their bid for top honours in the First Division this Canada Day Weekend following their first loss of the season, a 2-0 defeat to Toronto Croatia on June 23. The Impact Academy side, now in second position in the standings, will be at home to new club Kingston FC on Sunday afternoon.
For Kingston FC, it’s a swing into Quebec following a Friday encounter with TFC Academy at Downsview Park.
The TFC Academy vs. Kingston FC clash is one of two games in the First Division Friday – Mississauga Eagles at home to Windsor Stars is the other – , while on Saturday the Astros are seeking their first win of the season with a visit to Niagara United.
