Due to the amount of rain during the past two days, the ground at Victoria Park in Brampton is unplayable resulting in two CSL games scheduled for Sunday being postponed:
Windsor Stars scored their 7th victory of the season with a narrow 1-0 home win over Montreal Impact Academy at Windsor Stadium, and league-leading Toronto Croatia were held to a scoreless tie, two games in the CSL First Division Saturday.
Following a scoreless first half at Windsor, midfielder David Kadoic struck the game’s only goal at the 47th minute, a left foot drive from the edge of the penalty area that beat
Shortly afterwards, both teams had a player sent off by referee Matt McCready following an altercation which resulted in Windsor’s Stephen Ademolu and Montreal midfielder Philippe Lincourt-Joseph being shown the red card.
Windsor improve to 7-5-2 WLT for 23 points following the win and that’s good for a tie in sixth position in the standings, while Montreal Academy are without a win since July 1 and have a 5-2-6 record in ninth position.

With the CSL First Division campaign now past the half-way point teams are beginning to take a more serious look at their chances for regular season honours and a berth in the playoffs. The 22-game regular season will end early October and the top eight in the final standings will progress to the playoffs leading to the CSL Championship, won in 2011 by
TFC Academy, second in the standings, are without a game this weekend, while SC Toronto play twice, at home to Kingston on Friday night and away to North York Astros on Sunday. While these top teams are in contention, so are a number of others with so few points separating the top half of the league standings.
One game in the CSL Second Division, SC Toronto B vs. Kingston FC B scheduled for Saturday, has been postponed.

Despite an early 1-0 lead by the home side, the victory was rarely in doubt as the game progressed and the current CSL champions dominated the play in the final stages.
Kingston forward Mademba Ba opened the scoring at the 15th minute mark when he beat Croatia goalkeeper Antonio Ilic with a shot from 8 yards, but nine minutes later Croatia’s Tihomir Maletic tied the score 1-1.
Three minutes later Ba had an opportunity to put his side ahead from the penalty spot, but hit the post and the score remained 1-1 to the break.
Four minutes into the second half
Maletic made it 4-1 at 67 minutes, his 10th of the season and Bozenko Lesina rounded the scoring for a 5-1 lead at 89 minutes and the score remained to the final whistle.

Striker Richard West led Serbian White Eagles with a first half hat-trick to a 6-1 defeat of Niagara United,
West opened the scoring at the 9th minute mark at Centennial Stadium from a pass by Ivan Seankovic, Zoran Rajovic made it 2-0 at 14 minutes when he intercepted the ball to chip over the head of Niagara goalkeeper John De Luca and West scored his second at 21 minutes for a 3-0 lead by the home side. West took a pass from Seankovic before placing the ball in the left corner of the net.
Kirie Dimitrov increased the Serbian Eagles lead to 4-0 at 27 minutes, he took a pass from Veljko Lukovic and at 39 minutes West scored his hat-trick, he took a pass from Zoran Rajovic for a 5-0 lead.
Rajovic scored his second goal and the 6th for Serbian White Eagles at 46 minutes for a 6-0 lead at half-time and Niagara United scored a consolation goal at 67 minutes, a goal by Derek Paterson from a free kick just outside the box. It was 6-1 for Serbian White Eagles at the final whistle.
The City tied the game 2-2 at 78 minutes when Nenad Nikolic cut in from the left wing to score from the top of the box and the home side went on to claim the victory with goals by Nikolic, his second at 81 minutes and Samra also scored his second two minutes later for a 4-2 final score.

TFC Academy and SC Toronto share the top position in the CSL following a 1-1 tie between Toronto Croatia and SC Toronto and in three other games played in the CSL First Division Sunday, SC Waterloo scored an emphatic 4-0 victory over Serbian White Eagles, Kingston FC overcame a 1-0 deficit to defeat North York Astros 2-1 and Brantford Galaxy nipped Windsor Stars, 1-0.
The Toronto Croatia 1-1 tie with SC Toronto lived up to its billing in a hard, well-played encounter at Centennial Stadium, a game that was scoreless until Marin Vucemilovic Grgic found the net at 80 minutes. He took a pass from forward Tihomir Maletic while closing in and it turned out to be a tap in for the go-ahead goal.
SC Toronto were reduced to 10 men at a crucial time of 87 minutes when Garard Ladiyou was cautioned for a second time to be shown the red card and sent off.
Despite the disadvantage, the visitors fought back and were rewarded with a tying goal by forward Alon Badat who scored at 93 minutes after receiving a cross from the left wing.
SC Toronto improve to a 7-1-4 WLT record for 25 points and are tied for the top position with TFC Academy in the CSL First Division standings, while Toronto Croatia drop to third position with a 7-1-3 record for 24 points.
SC Waterloo had a field day in defeating Serbian White Eagles at the Seagram Stadium in Waterloo and it was Adis Hasecic who opened the scoring for the home side at 19 minutes and that was followed nine minutes later when Drazen Vukovic made it 2-0 and Slavisa Ubiparipovic increased the score to 3-0 at 39 minutes – the score at the interval.
Vukovic added a second goal at 52 minutes for a 4-0 score, which held to the final whistle.
Midfielder Carlos Amorim opened the scoring for North York Astros at 37 minutes against Kingston FC at Esther Shiner Stadium in
North York were reduced to 10 men when referee Scott Decker showed the red card to Davier Walcott at 72 minutes for serious foul play and the remainder of the game was scoreless to the final whistle, 2-1 in favour of Kingston FC.

Windsor Stars struck early with a goal by Michael Lepera after just four minutes in the game with Serbian White Eagles at Windsor Stadium and that score held in a close contest until Viktor Anastasov equalized for the Toronto team at 68 minutes.
It was nine minutes later that Windsor forward Christian Mayorga collected the ball on the six yard line to find the net past Serbian Eagles’ goalkeeper Nikola Marojevic and that proved to be the winner with the score 2-1 at the final whistle.
