WINDSOR STARS DOMINATE KINGSTON 5-0 SATURDAY

Windsor Stars took control early to eventually dominate Kingston FC with a 5-0 victory at the Invista Centre in Kingston, the only game played in the CSL First Division Saturday.


 


The visitors took the lead at the 17th minute mark when forward Stephen Ademolu beat Kingston FC goalkeeper Morgan Kenny with a low shot and Alexander Rickett made it 2-0 four minutes later.


 


Michael Chiandussi increased the Windsor lead to 3-0 with a good individual effort at 37 minutes and that was the score at the break.


 


Kingston FC forwards Edgar Soglo and Antonios Assaad were the most prominent for the home side in the second half, but failed to reduce the lead and Windsor went further ahead with a goal at 89 minutes by midfielder Erik Cirovski.  


 


Windsor forward Michael Pio completed the scoring when he found the net past Kenny just before the final whistle, a 5-0 final score.
