A goal after 15 minutes of overtime by midfielder Rade Parenta broke a 2-2 deadlock at 90 minutes to give Brantford Galaxy B a 3-2 victory over Serbian White Eagles B in the quarterfinals of the CSL Second Division Sunday. In a one other Second Division quarterfinal playoff game later in the evening at the St. Joan of Arc ground at Maple, York Region Shooters B scored a 1-0 victory over London City to advance with the Galaxy to the semifinals.
Galaxy centre forward Pat Wilson struck two goals at 27 and 40 minutes, while Zarko Tomic found the net twice for Serbian Eagles, at 30 and 68 minutes at the Kiwanis Field at Brantford.
Ricardo Miguel Lonseca found the net past London City goalkeeper Adam Kadri to score the lone goal at 70 minutes for York Region Shooters B.
Brantford Galaxy B will be away to Toronto Atomic FC B and SC Waterloo will host York Region Shooters B in the semifinals.
