Sunday’s ( September 20 ) – CSL Championship second leg of a two-game aggregate final between Scarborough and Serbian White Eagles scheduled for Esther Shiner Stadium has been cancelled due to poor ground conditions following the recent severe weather.
The match will now be played at the Rob Ford (Centennial) Stadium on Sunday, October 4, a 3 pm kickoff.
The current CSL defending champions Scarborough won the first leg game on August 15 by a 4-0 score.
While the 4-0 result puts Scarborough in a favorable position to repeat last season’s championship victory, Serbian White Eagles are still considered one of the top clubs in Canada and their games with the east- end Toronto side are always attractive, difficult to predict, with a rally by Serbian White Eagles on October 4 in the forecast.
